San Mateo County Fair – Where Tradition Meets Innovation

Posted on June 10, 2012

It’s finally here — the 78th San Mateo County Fair!  Running now through June 17th, the Fair brings the best of summertime fun:  livestock exhibits, carnival rides, live music and so much more!  Check out the Fair’s website for Fair Hours, Concert information and daily activities:

Congresswoman Jackie Spier was on site yesterday to kick off our Opening Day by introducing an exhibit within the Expo Hall booths entitled “Make it in America,” an exhibition of local companies and American-made products.  it truly the literal meeting place for  this year’s fair theme, “Where Tradition Meets Innovation.”   Come down to Expo Hall and see the special area for local companies who manufacture or produce their products domestically — even locally!  From candies to solar systems, San Francisco sourdough bread to housewares, this is truly a wonderful place to be reminded and inspired that “Made in the U.S.A” is still thriving and making an impact on our economy.

And while you’re cruising Expo Hall, be sure to stop by and visit our Event Center Booth!  We’ll be there to answer questions and to promote upcoming events after Fair is over.  Stop in and get some information on renting our venue for your event or company picnic!  Be sure to Spin the Wheel while you’re visiting to win great giveaways like a free parking pass, tickets to a future event or something else special!  See you at the Fair!
