Coming to the San Mateo County Event Center on July 14 and 15 is the Bay Area World Guitar Show!

Show Information:

Date:  Sat, July 14 and Sun July 15

Times:  10am – 5pm Sat; 10am – 4pm Sun

Admission:  $15 for Adults.  Children 11 yrs old and under free.

About the Show:  All shows are buy-sell-trade events, featuring players, stars, retail stores, vintage dealers, foreign buyers, authors, builders, manufacturers and collectors. You may see vintage, new and rare guitars, amps, banjos, mandolins, violins, effects, parts, clothing, books, audio equipment and other. Public attendees are encouraged to bring all the gear they can carry to sell or trade.

Founded 1999, California World Guitar Shows organizes 4 shows annually in California. Our events are internationally flavored buy-sell-trade shows, with vendors, collectors, vintage dealers, retailers, manufacturers and more.
Company Overview:
President Larry Briggs has been promoting shows since 1984, as a founding partner in Texas Guitar Shows, Inc. He has organized over 160 shows since the inception of that company. In 1999 he took over the West Coast shows and formed California World Guitar Shows (Tex-US Guitar Shows, Inc.). Larry also owns Strings West of Tulsa, an internationally-known vintage guitar and amplifier company since 1970.

To reach out to the music people in California and around the country, providing a venue for consumers to buy, sell and trade all types of music equipment, and for sellers to expand their customer bases.

The 4 Amigos (Larry included) are credited with starting guitar shows in America and are considered the most prolific show organization, having put in place every guitar show feature now followed by other promoters.
