November 2 , 3 and 4: Hillsborough Antique Show, Expo Hall

November 7: MPSF Speaker Series, Fiesta Hall

The MPSF Speaker Series has twice been voted “Best Lecture Series in the Nation” by the International Platform Association, and provides 3 separate speakers series locations.  Past speakers have included President Jimmy Carter, Bill Moyers, Lesley Stahl, Ann Richard and Carl Sagan.

Speaker scheduled for November 7:  Douglas Brinkley.

November 19:  Monday Night Football with Mancave Memorabilia, Jockey Club

San Mateo Event Center,  Sporting Facility – Jockey Club has teamed up with Man-Cave Memorabilia to give you once a month unforgettable MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL.   All you can eat buffet by Ovations Catering, for $15, plus, overnight parking if you have a little too much fun!  Other, surprises to be announced…  21+ and over, please.

November 28: MPSF Speaker Series — An Evening of Satire, Fiesta Hall

MPSF Speaker Series welcomes Mo Rocca, PJ O’Rourke and Peter Grosz to the Bay Area for a pre-holiday evening program of satire and stories on current events. Though best known to public radio listeners for their appearances on Chicago Public Radio’s Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me!, Mo Rocca, PJ O’Rourke and Peter Grosz are forces of wit and wisdom in their own rights, having sold millions of books and appeared on television and stage. Each offers an entirely unique perspective on what’s happening in your world, whether you know about it or not.
