Maker Faire Bay Area, San Mateo County Event Center, May 18 &19, 2013

Calling all Makers and Food Lovers!  The Maker Faire Bay Area returns to the San Mateo County Event Center on May 18 & 19.  In addition to the amazing exhibits, pedal-powered music stage, Coke and Mentos fountains, and robots galore, the FOOD will be an integral part of the Maker Faire experience.

Over 70 specialty food and beverage booths will be vending tasty treats all over the Event Center Campus.  Beer and wine will be available as well at various stations throughout the Faire.

About the Maker Faire:

Part science fair, part county fair, and part something entirely new, Maker Faire is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists, students, and commercial exhibitors. All of these “makers” come to Maker Faire to show what they have made and to share what they have learned.
