San Mateo Event Center; is a special place for large wedding receptions.

Because of the scale of our large buildings you do not need to worry about cutting your guest list down.   Invite the cousins and third cousins even!   We can accommodate 300-6,000 people wedding receptions.   The San Mateo Event Center has a wonderful park like setting for outdoor receptions as well…

Have a special theme? great! our spaces are a blank canvas so that you may bring in all your own specialty lighting, decor and we can even accommodate elephants if you are planning a traditional Hindu wedding.

We also have in-house catering  that offers authentic ethnic foods from many regions of the world.  Do you have a caterer you would prefer to use? We have a food-buy out option which will allow outside caterers.

Since we are not a hotel, there is no food & beverage minimums or hotel room block requirements…but we do have the Marriott hotel less than a mile away for your out of town guests and we are only 10 minutes away from the San Francisco International Airport.
